Howie Gordon
HOWIE (HOWEE) GORDON (Drums) has over 40 years of experience as a professional musician. Highlights include: the drum chair with Eartha Kitt for twelve years; co-founding the successful group on the DMP label, Bob’s Diner. He has worked with the Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Baltimore Symphony Orchestras; playing drums for Johnny Hartman, Freda Payne, Lionel Hampton, and Duke Ellington; Cab Calloway, Jerry Lewis, Lorna Luft to name a few and directing his own group, The Gordon Project, for a recording on the Koch Jazz label.
He has also played numerous Broadway shows such as West Side Story, Grease, and Chicago. He also has done extensive work for film and TV commercials. Howie endorses Sonor Drums and Amedia Cymbals.
