Dean Kosh
Dean was born in Bridgeport, CT and started playing the drums when he was four years old. Dean has mastered many different styles of drumming through music study and has played on many CDs with styles ranging from straight ahead jazz to hard rock. Dean has had many opportunities to tour all over the world playing music with different bands. He has been sought after to perform at many drum clinics and workshops.
To date, Dean is most known for playing with the band called the Chris Geith Group. The CD “Prime Time” has been played all over the world and was voted “Top Net CD” on MP3.com/ The “Prime Time” CD has had over 1,400,000 downloads. The music from this CD can be heard on the “Weather Channel”, “Music Choice” cable, “Sirius” Satelite radio and on a number of different national TV shows. “Restless Heart”, which is the second radio single, is featured on the “Best of The Weather Channel II” CD.
The Chris Geith Group was signed with “Jive Records” in Asia in 2001. The band holds the title of being Number 1 in the “Smooth Jazz”, Jass Fusion” and “Contemporary Urban/R&B” charts on MP3.com.
Currently, Dean is playing with The Chris Geith Group and The Bernadettes. The Bernadettes are well known in Connecticut and the greater New York City area for providing high energy R&B with a touch of class and sophistication. They were voted best rock/R&B/Soul Band in Fairfield County in 2008.
