Charles Ryan Tinsley
Ryan was born on February 11th, 1987 in Richmond, Virginia. At an early age he and his family moved to Mechanicsville, Virginia, where he still resides today. Ryan began playing music at the age of 12. He picked up the bass guitar first but then fell in love with the drums shortly after. He took lessons at a local music store rightfully called, Mechanicsville Music for a few years. Ryan would play in a few local bands until the age of 19 when he joined his current band, Conditions, in the summer of 2006. The Richmond based group has toured extensively over the past 4 and a half years selling out venues in their hometown and appearing on well known tours such as the Vans Warped Tour and The Bamboozle. Their second tour ever as a band was with the band Paramore in the United Kingdom. It was huge exposure and Ryan’s second tour ever as a musician. Ryan’s band signed to the independent record label, Good Fight Music in Feb. 2010. Their debut album, “Fluorescent Youth” was released later that year on September 14th. Ryan teamed up with Sonor shortly after the release of the album in September of 2010. The band will be on the upcoming 2011 Spring Alternative Press tour which will hit all parts of the U.S. and some of Canada. Ryan will be rocking the Sonor name on many tours for years to come.
